SELECT Subscribers - Getting Started

Signing into CONNECTION Client to gives users access to your Bentley applications, but the users must be affiliated with your account in order to access your accounts licenses.

Users must have the software download role assigned to be able to download on their own. Installing an SES enabled application will also install CONNECTION Client.

Sign into CONNECTION Client
To gain access to licensing, users must sign in to CONNECTION Client.
For users without an internet connection or extended offline scenarios beyond the offline period of products, provide check-out licenses to users.
Optional but Recommended for SELECT Subscribers
Set license alert notifications
All users have unrestricted access to licensing. Set up license alerts to monitor application usage and alert users that they may incur term license usage.
Set up users and groups
All users have access to all application licenses listed in their Entitlement Country. You can define groups to restrict application access or report usage.
View Usage Reports
Usage reports allow you to see how Bentley applications are used across your organization. You can view your reports through our analytics portal.

Non-SELECT Subscribers - Getting Started

Machine Registration Requirement
In the absence of a SELECT subscription, a perpetual license only includes a product use entitlement for a single user on a single machine.
