This category recognizes projects that demonstrate digital innovation in planning, design, analysis, or operations of network systems.
Nominate your inventive project that features electric or gas transmission and distribution, as well as telecommunications, networks.
This category recognizes projects that demonstrate digital innovation in planning, design, analysis, or operations of network systems. Please showcase your innovative use of Bentley applications, either independently or combined with other software—including OpenUtilities, Power Line Systems products, SPIDA, EasyPower, OpenComms, OpenTower, iTwin, ProjectWise, and MicroStation—across the entire project and asset lifecycle.
Please include any quantitative results relating to cost savings and productivity, as well as quality and safety, if applicable. Remember to include high-quality visuals—such as images, screenshots, animations, charts, videos, and diagrams—and provide actual models and product screenshots. We also ask that you provide examples of how you are leveraging digital twins and AI across the lifecycle to advance project delivery and enhance asset performance.
Criteria 1
Detail project quality in terms of effectiveness of information/data management.
Criteria 2
Showcase the innovative and creative use of Bentley technology (digital transformation).
Criteria 3
Demonstrate the project’s complexity, including:
- The difficulty of problems that were solved.
- Solving technical challenges with interoperability (Bentley products or external enterprise systems).
Criteria 4
Provide measured/quantified return on investment (ROI) achieved using Bentley software, including:
- Cost savings (energy efficiency, water loss, design, construction and maintenance costs).
- Time savings.
- Resource optimization.
- Risk management (mitigation measures and solutions).
Criteria 5
Showcase sustainability impact of the project (climate adaptation, society, community, safety, environmental, etc.), including:
- Energy savings.
- Lower carbon footprint.
- Improved resilience.
- Improved quality of life.
- Mitigated risk.
Submissions must include high-quality, engaging, and informative images, screenshots, models, simulations, animations and movies, charts, and/or diagrams.

This category recognizes projects that demonstrate digital innovation in planning, modeling and analysis, design, operation, or maintenance of water infrastructure. Please showcase your innovative use of Bentley applications, either independently or combined with other software—including OpenFlows software, OpenFlows digital twin cloud solutions (WaterSight, PlantSight, SewerSight), iTwin, OpenPlant, STAAD, PLAXIS, OpenRoads, SYNCHRO, ProjectWise, or AssetWise—across the entire project and asset lifecycle.

Showcase innovative and effective use of Bentley software and digital twin solutions for design, analysis, construction, operation, maintenance and rehabilitation of water, wastewater or stormwater systems and plants that demonstrate:
- Resilience (meet demand, regulatory requirements, ensure equity and safety).
- Disaster preparedness (climate adaptation, extreme weather events, etc.).
- Improvement of performance/efficiency.
Criteria 3
Detail project efficiency, management, and collaboration, addressing challenges that include:
- Collaboration across teams.
- Improved workflow due to digitalization.
- Data management (lack of data, data literacy, siloed data).
- Workforce shortage.
Criteria 4
